Interferencias

Estado De Ruido’s first collection, Interferencias (Interferences), establishes a dialogue with physics, music and philosophy, taking as a departure point the superposition of two waves of time or sound, a process which creates distortion. The conversation is further broadened to mean the interference generated by external or artificial limitations on our own human freedom, our natural feelings, desires and volition, in which we are united with our “true” noise (ruido).

This dialogue is reflected in the use of plastic casings conceived as architectural elements covering vintage clothing, which would restrict freedom of communication and fullness of feeling. This motif within the collection is representative of the particularly fun visual effects and aesthetics of Estado de Ruido: cool, experimental, interesting, demonstrating quality and attention to detail, but lacking pretentiousness. Clothes to live and dance in.
